AI spots silent liver disease during heart checkups
NCT ID NCT07216859
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 27 times
Summary
This study tests whether artificial intelligence (AI) can spot early signs of liver disease (MASLD or cirrhosis) in people getting a routine heart ultrasound. About 2,000 adults flagged as high-risk by the AI will be followed to see if they get diagnosed and treated faster than usual care. The goal is to catch liver problems earlier without extra tests.
