Scientists track Kids' movements to understand scoliosis treatment effects
NCT ID NCT02610855
Summary
This study aims to understand how bracing or surgery for scoliosis affects children's daily activity and back muscle stiffness. Researchers will measure activity using wearable monitors and muscle stiffness using a special ultrasound scan in 200 children, comparing those with scoliosis to healthy peers. The goal is to gather knowledge about the condition and its treatments, not to test a new therapy.
