First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 17, 2026 · Updated 23 times
Summary
This study reviews a new type of breast-conserving surgery that uses the body's own tissue to fill the area where the tumor was removed, leaving no visible scars. Researchers will look at medical records from 250 women treated in the last 10 years to see how well the surgery works and how it affects recovery and quality of life. The goal is to gather strong evidence to make this technique more widely available.
