Scarless surgery could transform breast cancer treatment
NCT ID NCT06906237
Summary
This study looks at a scarless surgical technique for breast cancer that uses the patient's own chest wall tissue to fill the space where the tumor was removed. Researchers will follow 250 patients who had this surgery over the past 10 years to see if it leads to better cancer control and improved appearance compared to traditional methods. The goal is to gather evidence to help more hospitals offer this approach.
