First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 29 times

Summary

This early-stage study tested a precise type of radiation called stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT) in 15 women whose ovarian or uterine cancer had returned in a limited area. The goal was to find the safest dose and see if it could control the cancer without major side effects. The approach uses focused X-rays over several days to damage tumors while sparing healthy tissue.
