First seen May 05, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 3 times

Summary

This study tests whether a new drug, SAR445399, can reduce mucus plugs in the lungs of adults with non-cystic fibrosis bronchiectasis. About 70 participants will receive either the drug or a placebo, and researchers will measure changes in mucus plug scores using CT scans over 24 weeks. The goal is to see if the drug helps clear airways and improve breathing.
