Shorter radiation for breast cancer: could less be more?

NCT ID NCT07076485

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 27 times

Summary

This study tests whether shorter courses of radiation to the lymph nodes are safe and effective for people with breast cancer who have had surgery and are at higher risk of the cancer coming back. About 768 participants will receive either standard or shorter radiation schedules. The goal is to see if shorter treatment can reduce side effects while still controlling the disease.
