First seen Jan 06, 2026 · Last updated May 18, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study looks at 100 people with recurrent hypopharyngeal cancer who need a second surgery (salvage surgery) with a flap to rebuild the area. The goal is to see if the type of flap used (free or pedicled) is linked to different complication rates. The study only observes past cases and does not test a new treatment.
