Second-Chance radiation zaps returning prostate cancer
NCT ID NCT03246802
Summary
This study is testing a precise, high-dose radiation treatment for men whose prostate cancer has come back after previous radiation therapy. Doctors use advanced imaging to find the exact spot of the returning cancer and deliver a strong, focused radiation dose directly to that area. The main goals are to see if this second treatment is safe, controls the cancer, and maintains patients' quality of life.
