Second chance radiation: precision treatment targets prostate Cancer's return
NCT ID NCT03246802
Summary
This study tests a targeted radiation treatment for men whose prostate cancer has returned after initial radiation therapy. Using advanced imaging to pinpoint the exact location of the recurrence, doctors deliver a high-dose radiation boost directly to the tumor area. The goal is to control the cancer while minimizing side effects by treating only the affected part of the prostate.
