Summary
This study tests new plastic tubes (cannulas) used to connect patients to a heart-lung machine during heart surgery. The goal is to see if they are safe and work as well as current tubes. About 80 adults having planned heart surgery will take part. The study has two phases: first checking safety, then comparing performance to existing devices.
