NCT ID NCT05581589
First seen Mar 05, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 7 times
Summary
This small study tested a drug called sacituzumab govitecan in 4 people with a rare type of muscle-invasive bladder cancer before they had surgery to remove their bladder. The drug targets a protein on cancer cells to deliver chemotherapy directly. The trial was stopped early, so results are limited, but researchers looked at whether the drug could eliminate all signs of cancer before surgery.
