Could eating less boost Radiation's power against breast cancer?

NCT ID NCT04959474

First seen Nov 03, 2025 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 32 times

Summary

This study looks at whether cutting calories while getting focused radiation (SABR) before surgery can shrink breast tumors more than radiation alone. About 80 adults with early-stage breast cancer will be randomly assigned to one of two groups. The goal is to see if the diet helps the radiation work better and reduces the chance of cancer spreading.
