Text messages boost brain therapy for stubborn depression?
NCT ID NCT05570344
First seen Apr 26, 2026 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study looks at whether adding a text-message support program (Text4Support) to standard brain stimulation therapy (rTMS) can improve symptoms in people with treatment-resistant depression. About 200 adults who have not gotten better with at least two antidepressants will be randomly assigned to receive rTMS alone or rTMS plus Text4Support. The goal is to see if the text support helps reduce depression and anxiety more than rTMS alone.
