Summary
This study tested whether a non-invasive brain stimulation technique called rTMS can reduce 'first rank symptoms' of schizophrenia, such as delusions and hallucinations. Researchers compared real rTMS to a sham treatment in 31 patients who still had symptoms despite medication. They also used brain scans to see how the treatment affects brain activity.
