First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated Jun 16, 2026 · Updated 32 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a non-invasive brain stimulation technique called rTMS can help reduce nerve pain in people with spinal cord injury. Researchers will apply high-frequency stimulation to a brain area involved in pain processing. Sixty adults with spinal cord injury and at least six months of nerve pain will be enrolled. The goal is to see if adding rTMS to standard medical care provides extra pain relief.
