New Tooth-Saving material put to the test in root canal study
NCT ID NCT03732170
Summary
This study compares two different materials used to seal root canals after cleaning out an infection. Researchers want to see if a newer bioceramic sealer (TotalFill®) leads to better healing of the bone around the tooth root compared to a standard sealer (AH Plus®). About 170 teeth from adult patients will be treated and then monitored for a year with check-ups and X-rays to track healing and pain levels.
