New hope for young patients with rare blood disorder

Summary
This study is testing whether adding a drug called romiplostim to standard immunosuppressive therapy helps children and young adults with severe aplastic anemia. The goal is to see if this combination helps the body produce healthy blood cells again. The trial will include up to 15 participants aged 2 to 21 years who are newly diagnosed or whose disease has returned or not responded to prior treatment.
