New shot aims to fix chemo side effect in breast cancer patients

Summary

This study tests a drug called romiplostim N01 in 68 breast cancer patients whose platelet counts dropped too low after chemotherapy. The goal is to see if weekly injections can safely bring platelet levels back up within two weeks, allowing patients to continue their cancer treatment. This is an early-stage trial without a placebo group.
