Robot hands vs. human touch: which soothes back pain better?

Summary
This study tests whether a robotic massage device (EMMA) works as well as a human massage therapist for relieving lower back pain. About 40 adults with lower back pain will receive both types of massage. The main goal is to see if it's possible to run a larger study comparing the two approaches.
