First seen Jan 25, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 13 times
Summary
This study looks at how the right side of the heart responds to major lung removal surgery. It compares two less invasive methods (VATS and robotic surgery) with traditional open surgery. The goal is to see if these newer techniques cause less strain on the heart, especially in patients with existing heart or lung problems. About 100 adults will take part.
