First seen Apr 24, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 6 times
Summary
This study looks at giving an extra dose of the clot-busting drug prourokinase to people having a stroke caused by a medium or large blocked artery. Participants must not have improved much one hour after the first standard treatment. The goal is to see if the second dose can open the blocked artery more often and lead to better recovery after 90 days, without causing dangerous bleeding in the brain.
