First seen Apr 24, 2026 · Last updated May 05, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study tests whether giving an extra dose of the clot-busting drug prourokinase can help stroke patients with medium or large blocked brain arteries who don't improve after the first dose. About 122 adults will receive either standard care or a second infusion within 4.5 hours of symptoms. The goal is to see if this approach safely opens blocked vessels and improves recovery at 90 days.
