Summary
This study aims to better understand posterior staphyloma, a bulging at the back of the eye that can occur in people with high myopia (severe nearsightedness). Researchers will collect blood samples and eye images from 200 adults in France, the Netherlands, and Spain. No treatment is given; the goal is to learn how genes and proteins relate to this eye condition.
