Golden root put to the test: can a week of supplements make you stronger and sharper?
NCT ID NCT07225413
Summary
This study tested whether taking Rhodiola rosea (golden root) supplements for just 7 days could improve exercise performance and mental focus in adults who regularly lift weights. Twenty-seven participants tried different doses of the supplement, a placebo, and a no-pill period in a random order. Researchers measured their strength, power during a cycling sprint, and performance on a color-word test to see if the supplement made a difference.
