Summary
This study tested whether taking Rhodiola rosea (golden root) supplements for just one week could improve exercise performance and mental focus in adults who regularly lift weights. Twenty-seven participants tried four different one-week regimens: no supplement, a placebo pill, a low dose, and a high dose of Rhodiola. On the final day of each week, they completed strength tests and a cognitive task to see if the supplement made any measurable difference.
