New hope for rare lung infection: weekly shot shows promise

Summary
This study tests a drug called rezafungin for people with a long-term lung infection caused by a fungus (chronic pulmonary aspergillosis) who have run out of treatment options. About 60 adults will receive the drug once a week for 6 months. Researchers will check if the infection improves using breathing tests, weight, and CT scans.
