NCT ID NCT06776991

First seen Jan 12, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 17 times

Summary

This study looks at whether doing a positive mood exercise before exposure therapy can improve treatment for public speaking anxiety. About 94 adults with social anxiety will take part. They will be randomly assigned to either a positive mood treatment or a relaxation treatment before starting exposure therapy. The goal is to see which approach helps reduce anxiety more during and after therapy.
