NCT ID NCT06484114

First seen Mar 17, 2026 · Last updated May 18, 2026 · Updated 9 times

Summary

This study tests a procedure called Revita DMR, which uses heat to treat the lining of the upper gut, to help people with obesity keep weight off after they stop taking the weight-loss drug tirzepatide. About 315 adults who lost at least 15% of their body weight on tirzepatide will be randomly assigned to get the real procedure or a fake (sham) one. The main goal is to see if the procedure prevents weight regain over six months to a year.
