Scientists test drug and diet combo to turn back the clock on aging
NCT ID NCT07354620
Summary
This early-stage study is testing whether a combination of a monthly fasting-mimicking diet and a weekly low-dose drug called rapamycin can slow down or even reverse biological aging. It involves 52 healthy adults aged 50 to 80. Researchers will use a special blood test to measure changes in participants' 'biological age' over six months to see if the treatment works.
