Scientists test drug and diet combo to turn back the clock on aging

NCT ID NCT07354620

Summary

This small, early-stage study is testing whether a combination of a monthly fasting-mimicking diet and a low weekly dose of the drug rapamycin can slow down or even reverse biological aging. It will enroll 52 healthy adults aged 50-80. Researchers will use a new blood test that measures biological age to see if the six-month treatment changes how fast participants are aging.
