Memory test shows promise for schizophrenia patients
NCT ID NCT02150174
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 27 times
Summary
This study looked at whether a memory technique called retrieval practice works in people with schizophrenia. 40 participants (patients and healthy controls) learned word pairs and were tested two days later. The goal was to see if being tested on the words helped them remember better than just re-studying them. This could help design better memory training programs.
