Could a single infusion of 'Peacekeeper' cells let kidney transplant patients ditch most Anti-Rejection pills?
NCT ID NCT06552169
First seen Nov 05, 2025 · Last updated May 30, 2026 · Updated 23 times
Summary
This study tests whether a single infusion of specially grown immune cells (TRK-001) can help kidney transplant recipients safely reduce their lifelong anti-rejection medications. About 34 adults receiving a kidney from a living donor will either get standard care or standard care plus the cell infusion. The goal is to see if those who get the cells can safely take just one anti-rejection drug instead of the usual cocktail, while still preventing organ rejection.
