First seen Mar 25, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 9 times
Summary
This study looks at how different breathing exercises affect the muscles that help us breathe in ICU patients who are having trouble coming off a ventilator. The goal is to find the best way to strengthen these muscles so patients can breathe on their own sooner. About 90 adults who are stable enough to participate will be involved.
