NCT ID NCT07135232
First seen Jan 10, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 17 times
Summary
This study looks at whether resistance training and a plant-based supplement (sarmentosin and l-theanine) can improve symptoms like mood, sleep, and muscle health in perimenopausal women aged 40-55. About 72 women will be split into four groups: supplement plus exercise, supplement only, placebo plus exercise, or placebo only. They will take daily capsules and some will do home strength workouts for 12 weeks, with regular check-ups on thinking, mood, and muscle strength.
