New study: simple home workouts and plant pills may ease menopause symptoms

NCT ID NCT07135232

First seen Jan 10, 2026 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 15 times

Summary

This study looks at whether resistance training (like lifting weights at home) and a plant-based supplement can improve symptoms of perimenopause, such as mood, sleep, and memory problems. About 72 women aged 40-55 who are not on hormone therapy will take part. They will be split into four groups: some will exercise and take the supplement, some will do only one or the other, and some will take a placebo. The goal is to find a safe, drug-free way to manage symptoms.
