First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 22, 2026 · Updated 38 times
Summary
This study looks at whether a simple, twice-weekly resistance exercise program using bands can help manage fatigue in breast cancer survivors. Researchers will enroll 60 women from different income backgrounds to see if the program is practical and who sticks with it. The goal is to understand how social and personal factors affect exercise habits after breast cancer treatment.

What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
Active substance
resistance exercise program
What this could lead to
If successful, this could show that a simple, home-based resistance exercise program is a practical way to reduce cancer-related fatigue for breast cancer survivors, regardless of income level.
What could go wrong
This is a small feasibility study (60 people) with no control group, so it cannot prove the exercise program actually reduces fatigue. Results may not apply to all breast cancer survivors.
