NCT ID NCT03133455
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 20 times
Summary
This study looked at how repetitive negative thinking, called rumination, affects people with fibromyalgia. Researchers wanted to see if this type of thinking is linked to depression and anxiety, which are common in fibromyalgia. A total of 107 adults with fibromyalgia filled out questionnaires about their thoughts and mood. The goal was to better understand the emotional and mental challenges of fibromyalgia, not to test a new treatment.
