First seen Jan 08, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 17 times

Summary

This study tests whether adding a nerve-blocking procedure (renal denervation) to a standard heart ablation (pulsed-field ablation) can better prevent early return of atrial fibrillation in 86 adults with persistent AFib. Participants will be followed for 90 days without antiarrhythmic drugs. The goal is to see if the combo treatment reduces short-term arrhythmia episodes and is safe.
