Smart knee implants track recovery from home

NCT ID NCT06968143

Summary

This study aims to understand how remote monitoring devices and neighborhood resources affect recovery after knee replacement surgery. Researchers will track 150 patients using smart knee implants that measure movement and compare their recovery to patients receiving standard care. The goal is to see if remote monitoring can reduce follow-up visits while maintaining good outcomes and to learn if where patients live impacts their recovery.
