Remote workouts tested to boost heart health in At-Risk adults

Summary

This study tests whether remote exercise programs (using a smartphone app or live video classes) can help adults over 45 who are at risk for heart disease become more active. Thirty participants will be randomly assigned to one of four exercise groups for 12 weeks. The goal is to see if these remote options are acceptable and effective at improving fitness and reducing heart disease risk.
