First seen May 16, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study tests a new training method for people with homonymous visual field loss (blindness in half of their vision). The training uses reminder cues to encourage larger head scans toward the blind side while driving. Researchers will measure how often participants make early head scans and detect hazards. The goal is to improve driving safety for people with this condition.
