New anesthesia may keep seniors Clear-Headed after cancer surgery

Summary

This study looks at whether a drug called remimazolam can lower the chance of confusion (delirium) in older adults after stomach cancer surgery. About 170 people aged 65 and older will get either remimazolam or standard anesthesia. The main goal is to see who has less confusion in the first 5 days after surgery.
