Gentle touch, big relief? reiki studied for cancer fatigue

NCT ID NCT07581080

First seen May 14, 2026 · Last updated May 18, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study looks at whether Reiki, a non-invasive therapy where a practitioner lightly places hands near the body, can help adults with cancer who feel very tired from immunotherapy. Twelve participants will either receive six weekly Reiki sessions or wait, then switch. Researchers will measure changes in fatigue, pain, and stress, and check if offering Reiki in this setting is practical.
