First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 23 times

Summary

This study looks at whether reflexology (a type of foot massage) can help lower anxiety and pain in women whose labor is started with a balloon device. About 84 pregnant women will take part. Half will get reflexology after the balloon is placed, and the other half will get standard care. Researchers will measure anxiety levels, how long labor takes, and pain scores.
