Summary
This study tests whether a set of tools can help doctors and nurses order fewer unnecessary lab tests for hospitalized patients. Researchers will compare hospitals that use the tools at different times, involving up to 700,000 patients across 16 hospitals in British Columbia. The goal is to improve patient care and reduce waste without harming outcomes.
