New program cuts stroke risk in African-American men

Summary
This study tested a 6-month program called TEAM to help African-American men who had a stroke or mini-stroke lower their risk of another one. 160 men took part, with half getting the program and half on a waitlist. The program focused on managing blood pressure and cholesterol through group support and education.
