First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 30 times

Summary

This study looks at whether starting HIV treatment quickly after diagnosis can reduce stigma and improve health in people who inject drugs. About 135 participants will be randomly assigned to either rapid-start or standard care. The goal is to lower HIV-related stigma and achieve undetectable viral loads, which means no risk of passing the virus to others.
