Sober up for surgery: new study tests alcohol reduction before operations

Summary
This study tests different ways to help people scheduled for major elective surgery drink less alcohol before and after their operation. The goal is to improve surgical recovery and long-term health. About 440 adults who drink at risky levels will receive personalized support through their smartphone or computer.
