First seen Nov 17, 2025 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 18 times
Summary
This study looked at whether a short nap (under 30 minutes) can help sleep-deprived anesthesiologists perform better during emergencies. Researchers used realistic simulations to measure both technical skills and stress levels. 44 doctors in training took part. The goal was to see if power-napping is a practical way to reduce mistakes caused by tiredness.
